Fixed, finally...

Thanks to the warranty on the computer power supply, I'm now all fixed and back up and running.

A few days ago, it was decided that Aidan's achy breaky hair needed to be tamed, so he went for his first haircut. Jill took him to a kid's haircut place, and they fixed him up good. He did pretty well, although the sucker might have helped with that...

He also had his 15 month checkup. He is now 31 inches tall (I'd say tall now, as opposed to long) and 22 lbs, 12 ozs, which is about right on average for height and a little under for weight. He also got his last shot for a long time (until he's 4 the Dr. said), which will be nice. He's done fine with shots, but I still feel for him when he gets stuck.

And tomorrow, we're off to San Diego for a few days with relatives out there. It's my Grandma's 85th birthday party, and we'll get to take a good tour of the San Diego zoo. Should be fun. The wild card is how Aidan will be on the plane. He's flown twice before, but that was back when he slept more, so it could be total chaos. We'll see.

Technca dffcutes

nthng seems t be wrg s we ths wee.

Translation: Nothing seems to be working so well this week. Including a number of keys on the laptop...

Ok, so I'm having one of those weeks where the computers are against us. When we got home from being gone this weekend visiting friends, my computer wouldn't turn on. Dead power supply, I think. In addition to that, Jill's laptop has a problem with the keyboard (about 8 dead keys around the u, i o, j, k area, as shown in the typing above). I'm only able to type normally here by plugging in the keyboard from the dead desktop.

And work isn't safe either, as the computer controlling our heat treat furnace lost its video too.

Just one painful reminder after another of how much I use computers.

Hopefully I'll get the desktop back up and running again in a few days.
